Pete no affence, why do I have a feeling that this might not gonna work on the other thread. more ideas = more confusion and more disagreement, even if we all finally voted for 1 place, those members doesn't like that place arent gonna travel there anyway, what's point?
All we want is locals get together at their own area, that's why is called mini meets. we can have 1 mini meet in every few surburbs, but on the other thread is more like organising a regular state meet, just my 2cent.

The meets are rotating.

So the idea is that they will appeal to different people.

I honestly don't understand the big deal about travelling, but some people do so only go to the meets you want to.

No offence taken. :) I just want to get a good "menu" of available locations so we can rotate thru ALL of them (well the good ones anyway)every fortnight or so. So fornight 1 we have a meet in the north west, fornight 2 we meet in the far north, fortnight 3 meet in the metro/south area. The plan is to cycle thru each of the three loose geographical zones for, each mini-meet but every time we go to a different venue.
In the other thread, it's not a regulat state meet I'm trying to organise, just quickie school night meet ups. Yes, the other thread has some ideas for cruises and what not, but I'll split those ideas for proper cruise routes up into another thread and try and keep the mini-meet and state meet/cruise ones quite seperate things. I hope that clarifies what I'm try to achieve.

It costs time and money to commute from where ever they work, back home to a meet point and back home again. Sometimes time is the bigger consideration if they have to travel a fair distance, like the other side of the metro basin thru crappy Sydney evening traffic.

You'd be surprised how much attention you get from bored park/council rangers or police because they just want to demonstrate their power. We've had that issue with rangers in the olympic park precint.

The area attracts other car clubs which may not follow similar behaviours to us yet we'd get chucked in the same basket.

So what they're going to do? Just come and tell us to piss-off? I've never been in a motor club meeting around that area so I don't know things like that happens, it's sounds annoying..... :(

Yeah, I overlooked that one too. I guess we should get some sort of banners saying that "we're coming in peace, just for fun not for hooning" :))

We do rotating regular mini-meets in various places....
see this thread for details - http://clubcj.net/viewtopic.php?t=9023

The next one is targeted to be located in the Northern suburbs/Northern Beaches/Central Coast Regions....

Yeah Im aware of those. I was just wondering if this could be organised as a sort of mini-mini meet, or a night photoshoot. Lol. I could organise this probably if no one else will (know a few people who missed the first West meet up.) :)

So does this mean since there are already meets every 3 weeks in the locations already picked therefore no one else is able to post a meet anywhere??

I suggest just post up the meet for OP. as there is plenty of people keen

No any member can still organise a meet or cruise. Just run it past Pete or Ryan to check it is ok.
