No argument here but clearly when people saying Alienware is Dell then it's obvious that they are no true PC enthusiast, no point in raising further discussions as it will just go to nowhere. The reason is they only know about this brand after Dell bought it, way before this it was a thing of their dream or not even in their dreams as they just don't know about its existence..... just like the brand said Aliens, we don't know if they are exist til they came down and say hi, ey?
I admit I wasn't able to get my hands on an Alienware around 10 years ago as the cheapest one was $4000. However, thanks to Dell for putting its advanced supply chains into play so now Alienware prices are less crazy but still.....it appeared as too expensive or overpriced to many general public buyers with limited cashflow, no offence but it's more of a brand than just a laptop. Just like any designer fashion brands.
And good luck on building your own laptop mate LOL
Like you always said, "your opinion"

Chances of getting it by accident is really slim
why not just buy a dell? thats all alienware is, a fancy expensive dell haha.
