Hey guys ( and girls )
I'm Lam and I'm from Sydney. I drive a 2008 lightning blue VR lancer. Haven't done much to it except for some wheels and exhaust. Reason being my missus drives it as well. I got a couple of other rides that I drive around but have been modified to where she doesn't want to drive them.
I plan to put on the GTR body kit and of coarse lower it. I want to change the rear lights as well as the fronts. Fit a vrx or evo wing and get better wheels for it. Looking at get a custom system put in, in the near future. I think that is about it.
You can usually find me toying with my VS Statesman or Soarer. ( weekend cars ) the Statesman is an Aus VIP supercharged v6 and the Soarer is a single turboed beast of a street car pulling 368 kw at the wheels.
The lancer is my daily that I have grown to love driving and I find myself taking it out more on the weekends now as well so she has got to look good.
I noticed a lot of you used plasti dip to black out the front bit. What was the process with that? Could some maybe shoot me the link if there is one. Just haven't found it myself yet.
I got no clue how to post images but when I figure it out I'll throw some up here.

Hi Lam, welcome to the club. Sounds like you already have the modding bug. That Lancer is begging to be modded. you know you want to. I'm sure your girl can cope with a moderate level of modding.
A lot of members dont use plasti dip, but actually a black sheet of vinyl. Our sponsor lukeaday signs makes precut piece of black vinyl.

Hi Liam welcome to the club.
There are plenty of mod ideas on here for you.
Engine wise, a good exhaust and tune will do wonder for performance. Nothing like your other car but it will stop it from being a slug.
Get along to the meet and see some of the other members cars. A quick drive in a few will surprise you.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys and a special thanks for all the tips and tricks for the website. I'll be sure to give them a go. It will be great to get out and on a cruise but I'm not too sure about next Saturday yet. I'm getting married in Oct. and all the wedding stuff is really starting to take over if you know what I mean.
