What else are you planning on wrapping? Ever considered going to the extreme and cover the door panels where the cloth is right now?
thanks! i tried breaking it up a bit, if its all the same its a bit much
considered but probably wont bother haha
BR14AN wrote:Update yo, redid the piece in 3M Di-Noc instead of the cheap stuff I used.
I also did around the gear shifter, as you can see I did the cup holders in a darker wrap, just for contrast.
I had some problems with the ciggy lighter indentation...
Hi Brian
Your interior looks awesome. I was also thinking to apply some CF stuff. I have few question to ask if you don't mine me asking.
Did you take all plastic parts (around gear shifter) out before you apply CF? If yes, is it hard to take it off and put it back again?
Where did you get 3M Di-Noc CF and how much? I got some yesterday but not real 3M, cheap stuff paid $30/m.
More photos will be appreciated.
Cheers

Hey Niro,
Yes you have to take the plastic peices out, they are literally all clips and it takes 30 seconds.
Lukeaday - a sponsor for this forum, sell 3M Di-Noc but I bought mine of ebay for $40/square meter of ebay.
You will need either a good hairdryer or a heat gun to apply this as you need to stretch the vinyl in some areas.
Hope this helped.

Hey mate,
fantastic job! looks like a million bucks xD I've actually got some cf vinyl too, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to take the console and door panels/pieces/trims off so I can get a better wrap.
Was there a particular guide you followed? Or did you just take out every screw you saw? haha
Cheers

Hey Henry
I was trying to do my roof the other day and fully F@%&# it up. There were two reasons, 1. I used some other after market CF and didnt use 3M Dinoc.
2. I was trying to do it myself and had lots of air bubbles. wasted $60
You need someone to else to hold the CF while you trying to squeeze air out. The center console is very easy to remove. Press you coin box down and shift it towards the gear shifter and from there the rest is easy.
If I were you I wouldn't take the door panel off unless you want to change the fabric and put some FB on the trims. But up to you. You always can put the CF on the door trims and by using a retractable knife cut all the excess CF.Also use a hair dryer to make sure you get all the air bubbles out.

If you want to do your door inserts you would be much better off using NeffyWrap.
It is a actual fabric rather than a vinyl.
