what has that guy made that thing out of looks like inch thick putty, rather then a possible 5mm thick fiberglass.

BrownDog here in WA had an ES and now has fogs, I don't know what became of his ES covers.

I still have mine, I requested them from the dealer at delivery after they installed fog lights on my SX.
