I like how if i rage at people and apologize i get in more shit and get banned,

but no he goes completely off his nutter with no proper info besides something someone wrote, and apologizes he gets a slap on the wrist, i love the utter fairness in this admin system.

who said that he gets a slap on the wrist? we're dealing with this in the same way that you, and any other member, is dealt with. Steve's just come out with an apology before we've come to any decision.

if you want to make this a person issue Blakey, then you're sorely missing the point of this whole thread. Steve, at the least, has come clean and apologised and recognised where he's gone wrong. I'll let you know that this doesn't change, at least my stance, on how I'll respond to what he's done.

I'll make this clear as I can, we won't tolerate any action by club members which grossly cause offence to others. We will deal with them with seriousness and respond as it is necessary.

how was it a matter of fact when he knew NO facts, He only had WHAT a certain MEMBER.. had told him had APPARENTLY Happened. there was no facts he could of known.

He chose to accuse qld members of an act of illigality from someones word of what MAY have happend, NOT what DID happen.

Blakey, you really need to learn to take a step back and quit being so critical about everything that's said. This attitude of saying "I say what I say, when I say it, and everyone is my enemy until they prove not to be…" is only going to get you into trouble.

In fact, I'll go so far to say it's almost the same attitude as the old man Steve. And you can see where that's taken him. Then you go and question why you get dealt with the way that you do...

What people think of you is not important, or your problem, but any sensible person would take a step back and see if there is any merit to what is being said.

If one person says I'm a jerk, fine, no big deal, but if another guy comes along and says the same thing, well, am I? If one after another keep coming and say the same thing, am I missing something here?

i already know what im saying, i have never taken offence to anything anyone has ever said, i argue for argues sake.

alot of the qld base took to make meets with facebook because of the downhillm spiral this club has gotten its self into. also the lack of meets, this club actually does anymore, since well a long time.

Im pretty sure all of you think im immature, but im not. sadly i just like to mess with people sometimes. mostly people i dont know caues i dont need to feel accepted i have no need to.
If I know you personally and have met you then you are pretty safe from my portrayed attitude.

It's all well and good you like to mess with people, but surely you can apply yourself to the opposite endeavour of helping fix a problem?

Its not so much the "Club" thats got its self in a downward spiral, just t he QLD side of it. There is a lack of club enthusiasm for us QLD members, so much so, we were told to do it ourselves via Facebook (by Steve). So we did... and as soon as it was brought to Steve's attention, he assumed us all guilty of breaking club rules and threatened us with being banned. We are all respectful, not only of club rules, but road rules and other road users, and of course the business of which we meet in their carpark.
What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty???
There was no MATTER OF FACT to Steves outburst, what i have said here IS matter of fact, i am there at every meet and every cruise organised via facebook as per Steve's request, and i CAN say, every single person drives and behaves in a lawful manner.
So i ask for all to stop assuming that we deserved this. Just because we got upset about it, doesnt mean we DID do the wrong thing, we got upset because we were getting in trouble for doing what Steve told us to do. If he doesnt want us organising our own meets/cruises, he needs to get himself more involved in the club activities and not just the website.

As per my cruise meet on the 28th of this meet. I know this doesnt apply to everyone though I don't see how the QLDers have dropped the ball? I think the Admin should get off their pedestal and let members create their own meets if they want to. Unless you want to follow in Hitlers footsteps? This is a local baSED club, not a government organisation ffs.... Am I wrong in saying that?

If i knew about your cruises i'd come along, and i think a lot of the others would too, i think i can speak for them when i say we are not intimidated by evo owners, we can do the speed limit just as well as you can lol. I have seen your Sunny coast cruise tho, and i am considering coming along!! I also really want to get to know some Goldy members as i spend a lot of time there with work and mates etc so please keep me posted on meets

Jason members are allowed to organise meets ans cruises. We just ask that members ask before organising them.

The facts are we encourage any member to use their initiative and organise club events.

Jason, you know what? You're not the only person to have mentioned something similar to me. Or the fact that nearly every proposal put forward by members gets shot down.
In fact, as I was telling a QLD member last night, I encourage any member to get the ball rolling on mini-meets, cruises, catch up for dinner/movies/whatever, etc. Having different people from different areas pitching new meet places, runs, etc. Adds to the fun and mystery of going to new places outside of people's normal comfort zones.

If you put forward ideas and they get shot down for no fair reason, then escalate to one of your state mods or a senior mod (myself or Ofey) or Matt if you're getting no where with the admininistrator. Steve is not the only port of call....

Constitution says:
10.1.1.1. Cruises, Meets and Events can be organised by any member but must be approved by State Administrators and Moderators of their state before posting.

The only reason I can see that a meet is not approved, is if it's unsafe or unbecoming to the club's image in some way or something along those lines.
