looks like im doing the same as you mate. ordered my gsr with sst in early feb and still waiting for the damn thing !

just curious how much did you end up getting the swift springs for and why did you choose not to get the spec r ? im looking at the swift springs myself they seem to be a quite popular choice.

I ended up getting the spec r for just under A$480. Shipping was almost the same price as the springs.

I ordered my GSR with SST in late Jan, apparently it will be here early June.

I thought you were going coilovers? Any reason for selling the sports and going spec r? I would imagine there isn't a massive difference between them to pay for removal, shipping and installation for new springs.

Nah , I didn't install it , just decided that I'll go with a more aggressive setup, one that drops the car a little more and have a stiffer spring rate.

I'm still considering if I really should get coilovers or not as the car is mostly daily drive with occasional track days throughout the year. Coilovers are a lot more expensive anyways , making it a harder decision

For springs, it's pretty much down to the spec-r , gtworx and tmr springs

I have coilovers on my current car and unless you're tracking it regularly and or actually going to change the height/damper settings with some frequency, it is just not worth the hassle/money. Coilies can have so many issues.

yeah , thats what i was thinking , the possibilities of coilovers having issues is quite high and it's gonna be hard to find a person to rebuild the coilovers that i have in mind (KW V3) here in australia.

I might just go down the Spec-R route and decide if i really need coilovers in the future. Only thing is that the height adjustment would be great in case i scrape much on the Spec-R and a front lip
