angel eyes helllp D:

Postby Shifta » Wed Jan 26, 2011 6:42 pm

i have a set of angel eyes, my oven is too small and all i had was a hair dryer.
so i removed the headlights and began heating the seems with even passes (after removing the clip and screws of coarse) and started to pry into the sealent with a butter knife to try and seperate the lense from the headlight.
but it seemed all i was doing was starting to bend the plastic and i eventually gave up and put my car back together.

Is there anyone in queensland that could maybe help out sometime?
i will be in brisbane around the 26th of February if anyone is free.
or maybe any other helpful details in seperating the headlight?

the oven we used was just too small. the door half closed but it still did the same job. Patience is the key while separating the lens to the headlight.

Just on this.

Not keen on:
1 - pulling apart my front end.
2 - sticking my headlights in an oven.

Does anybody know a place in Melbourne that will install them.
I can wire them up, I just need someone to put them in.
Mods :
- RBX headers
- HPS short ram intake
- autotentica muffler
- Automoglow interor light + angel eyes
- Pioneer DVD player + JL audio sub +
Kenwood amp
- lightweight pulley
