This day and age, the world is so small, yet things can be so different just a short plane-ride away.
Looks like a fascinating place to visit. Must be fun.

Have you seen any Great Wall or Chery cars over there? Or are they just exports?

I've heard about the large wealth-gap over there... I can imagine how strange it could get.

How are getting around? And does anybody you're with speak mandarin or are you fumbling your way along?

yeah did the great wall and underground tombs today so thats the big thing i wanted to do.
in beijing most people can passably get by in english and actually want to practise it.
every other car is an audi a6 but do see a ffew chery's. they are on the cheaper end of the scale.

having a ball but have to leave on "fliday" unfortunately

sorry thought you asking about the actual great wall, but dont see the car variety here
