saw one of these yesterday in st kilda at a petrol station , Claim to be delivery men for Harvey Norman and offered me a "home theatre system" as the "guy at the depot" had given them 1 extra and they had to offload itbefore they got to the dropoff .
Showed me a heap of "larsen Acoustic" speakers and stuff in the baqck of their van.

It\'s a pretty old scheme I think- remember guys, being in possession of stolen goods is a crime. Unlawful possession = can be reclaimed at any time.
ps. This happened to me not that long ago at a servo- someone said nice car and asked if I wanted a Pioneer sub!

A couple years ago a white van stopped in the middle of the road and yelled out to me on the footpath, the guy asked if i liked music, in a confused state I said yes, he then offered me a home theater set for cheap (that was all the details he provided, not even a brand). I said no for obvious reasons, and they drove off.
