Im suprised its not THE most popular small/medium car whatever you class it as.
Think the corolla still outsells it,maybe because of fleet sales?? Toyota still has that name that people flock to,if u drive a corolla i can understand as they are so quiet to drive its not funny. Not sure what the I30 sales are but they would be up there, But the lancer has more features and still wins hands down in my books not to mention the warranty/roadside assist etc..
Its worth the extra road noise lol :)

I had the impression that the Lancer was reasonably popular, being about 3rd or 4th. It's behind the Corolla and Mazda3.

On an average drive, I'd see about 3 other Lancers. I have not seen another Lancer with a ClubCJ sticker though. There are a couple of Mystic Blue cars around Sydney as well, but again it's a rarity.
A hotspot, in my opinion, is around the Parklea/Blacktown area. There were so many Lancers when I visited the markets last time.

Tons, I have even seen one identical to mine just different wheels, it had the same spoiler and exhaust.
the spoiler I have is off a BA falcon GT with the brake light in it, I got that cos it looks like the evo one but not as high.
Might not seem a big deal but I was just surprised that someone else had the same spoiler.

They're getting like commodores... every man and his dogs got one. Doesnt help with them being a popular choice with Car Rental Companies.
ENJOY!! (cj-black)
