I FIND YOUR LACK OF FAITH DISTURBING......
Would it be dropped immediatly?? Or until the next model comes out??
Im suprised, but in another way im not considering it would be weird having a EVO running on batteries???? Even a hybrid EVO im not sure if future customers would take to that well.
Im all for the hybrids and batteries for future cars,we have to go that way, i feel petrol prices eventually will be unaffordable for the average motorist.
As long as they still have a Aspire model as thats next on my list

No matter what Mitsu does, I think they will always have an Aspire.
It's their trademark model designation as is:
Calais for Holden.
Ghia for Ford.
etc etc.
Sam
Yeah your right there sam, love the aspires,i personally wouldnt mod a aspire that much ,maybe wheels, there pretty much got everything

Like the Evo, but unfortunately it's one of those things that I wouldn't buy if I had that amount of cash.
Disappointing to see it go, but Mitsubishi is trying to take up what they see is a good business plan. Hero cars are cool, but they don't bring in the money.
Would suck if the Ralliart goes though, as I wouldn't mind getting that for whatever comes after the CJ.

that's crap... sure, they're going to make more money off it. but if they remove their performance line (including the ralliart if it happens), they're also removing an entire group of marketing through performance cars on movies/games etc...
young kids wont want to be playing the future gran turismo's in hybrids and battery cars... so goodbye advertisement for mitsubishi to still be making "cool cars"

yes, i know about the tesla. but i'm talking about mitsubishi's main performance line. 4 cylinder turbocharged cars that are still of the influence of rally.
not electric supercars
