Need help - What is this?

The new current 2011 RA is fitted with a factory alarm. What you see there are the motion sensors. They will sense any movement, even glass breakage as soon as they pick it up it will set the alarm off. The pajero exceed has had these fitted to there vehicles since early last year.
I do agree there not the most appealing thing. :-)

Mitsubishi call it ultrasonics.

Yeah seems like a bit of an after thought really, but I guess it is good to have a factory alarm.

the RA`s and evos already have a factory alarm chubb, but the 09 and 10 dont have the internal sensors
