I'm pretty sure there would be RA Lancer specific intakes though which would be a safer route.

bov is definately more audible although I did notice the sound was different to what you had posted in you're youtube link. Mine's more of a "psssh" sound. I then noticed we have different bovs.

Anyone know if the evo X GSR vs. MR bov is supposed to be different?

Different BOVs? Can't be.... maybe it's just the interior and the fact I was never revving hard in the videos (they're publicly displayed!).

RJ- I think I've seen your car in the Hills District too! We should catch up if you're around TLM! ps. Glad to see my videos and pictures inspired you!

once you wind your boost up a little bit more, say to 24psi... just wait till the sound it makes then, a hell of a lot better than stock :D

From the pics your 4mm hose to the bov sits on top while mine sits behind the bov (see pic). You're one looks and sounds alot like the EVO 8 MR bov. I dunno.. maybe i'll ask the dealer one time

Yea i think i spotted you too.. yea would be happy to meet up and share war stories hehe

one day :P

driving with the injen intake for a day now and already I'm starting to think it's a bit loud for my liking. I'll see how I like it by the end of the week.. otherwise I'll sell it and try the AEM one next.

AEM one is very very quiet according to US forums (but it's totally enclosed CAI!). I find that the Injen one is loud only when you are flooring it (as expected) or when there's that flutter sound from air coming back through the filter.

I personally wanted the sound (and satisfaction) hence why I went with the Injen kit.

However what I still can't explain is why my Intake pressure (even WOT) is now less than what the stock panel was. Similarly my boost even on S-Sport doesn't go past 1.54 bar (despite McCoy posting on another forum that it reached up to 1.8?)

I had a K&N Typhoon on my Civic and loved it but I read a lot of US websites and it seemed the two most popular ones were the Injen and the AEM kits.
