carbon fiber front bumper

Postby monty888 » Sat Feb 26, 2011 2:38 am

hey guys,

i found this part which replaces your front bumper into CF:

I know its quite pricey and would definately be cheaper to buy a roll of CF.

Now i feel like installing this on my ride..

whats your thoughts on it?

You can buy a center cap in plain black for around $100-120. If you can apply vinyl you should be able to get the carbon fibre vinyl for around $15 or get it done for around $40. IMHO its a bit pricey but would look great.

Monty888, thanks for the PM again, if you only want the center cap CF, don't waste money to buy a real CF cap, just buy a wrap, the center cap is kinda easy to do, only cost 20 to 30 dollars from ebay.
The real CF center cap ones would come off after a while, they will last longer if you put silicon on, but double side tape is a no no, when it heats up under the au sun, the tape will become less and less sticky and come off when you wash your car. And real CF does turn yellow over time under the sun also.
