Yeterday Ofey made the time to meet up with me on his weekend and helped me out with with a few things related to the car.

I have been a member and moderator on many different forums for the past 13 years or so and Ofey would have to be the most generous forum member I have met so far.

I have said it before and I'll say it again, Ofey is a true asset to this club and the forum.

Thanks Mate, your time and efforts are greatly appreciated.

G'day Paul .... I agree wholeheartedly - your use of the word "is" is interesting. I thought ofey had decided to leave CCJ.

This is going to be a bad time for you to say something like this as many of this forum's administration my well think I put you up to this.

This thread will probably get locked soon so perhaps I should say thank you for your kind words.

But for every one person that thinks that I'm an Angel, there'll be another who thinks I'm a rude SOAB. I do believe I call it as I see it. Just depends whom you speak to.

Actually no, not departing till I see a clear and valid explanation for my demotion.

To this point, I've been told by one Admin member about my demotion (and Troy's), much discussion has been happening in the background but I haven't yet been afforded the opportunity to discuss the matter with anyone but have apparently been "punished".

Thanks. Life though goes on.
I'm just waiting for the lock up of this thread to occur.

I am apolitical so let people think what they want.

Fact is you spent almost 3 hours of your time helping me out on the weekend, and I appreciate your efforts.

My only association with you is through the forum and for you to turn up on the weekend and help me out for no other reason than the fact that I am a forum member is worthwhile mentioning.

Regardless of the outcome, I felt it was important that other members know you are a stand up guy.

I truly hope that I can convey this is clearly and respectfully as possible. The Committee are working towards a resolution, and I can only urge people to air any grievances with myself.

Ofey is a valued member and contributor, these things can not be denied, however a process has taken place and must now be followed through.

Ofey, please feel free to PM me at any point.

Locking. The matter is currently with comm. No further comment will be entered into at this stage.

As for ofey's and aspire3's demotion, it's a point of conjecture at this point of time whether the actions taken were warranted or the offences took place.

For the sake of following due process in comm and fairness to all involved, I'm locking this thread as it's already gone further than the OP's heartfelt intent.
