I think I have one family member in Townsville ATM which I tried to call earlier and no answer on phone so I am hoping to god he is not there ATM

I did hear they may be out of communications for a while. Take it as no news is good news. I have half my family and friends based up north as well. Some have already been evacuated some I know are currently bunkering in their house. Your family member may have gone to a friends house. If you are really worried he may have registered with red cross you can check online here https://emergency.redcross.org.au/ or you can call 1300 993 191 to find out.

A New Baby Girl was Born This Morning in one of the Evacuation Center's *baby* ....How Sweet ..So Happens also There was a midwife in there who was visiting from England *angel* ....


Oh & No Parents say Baby is not going to be called " YASI " :P

My girlfriends family are in El Arish which is very close to mission beach and they had wood pierce there house and impale the beds they were planning on sleeping on and lost all there fences. Also they from where they are standing they are the only house they can see with its roof still attached.
