J Racing Bodyshop review (updated w/ pic)

Postby AshOz85 » Wed Jan 19, 2011 7:54 am

Hey peeps (well probably just rick lol),

Took my car out to J racing in fyshwick to get my x factor design front air dams, side skirts and vortex generator installed yesterday. Will be picking up the car this afternoon.

I'll report back with the quality of their work, total cost (was quoted $150 for install but may be more) etc... and ill update/create my garage with pics of it all installed soon that way you can see how it all looks.

Cheers

ash

Ok quick update. J Racing have called me to update the install cost (which i expected), due to the drilling and stuff required for install and fitting the cost is $300 now which I agreed to.

Are you getting them to add extra adhesive to the Vortex Generator like Sikaflex? with the tape alone some VG's have been known to part company with the car at highway speeds.

yeah nate, I made specific mention to them about that yesterday. He said this morning they installed the VG first so as to let the extra adhesive dry before i drive it this arvo.

He also mentioned the x factor kit it very high quality and appears to be fitting like genuine stuff. so big pat on the back for x factor there.
