Karcher or Gerni ????

And why ?

Gerni say they have a "metal pump".

Is this better ?

Karcher or Gerni are both good brands I would go Karcher
SCA have them I've been eyeing one off *bowl*

lol, u guys are crazy as bedbugs.

what do tradesmen call pressure cleaners?

they call them gernis

they dont call them karchers.

where karcher has nylon, gerni has brass.

if u want to add detergent into the spray, karcher, u fill a tank which goes through all the lines, gerni has a bottle that simply clips onto the end of the wand.

do some research

theres no domestic pressure cleaner that`ll blow grime off, it`ll blow mud off but not road grime, i have a gerni 130, from memory 1800 psi, the biggest is the 140, not much more pressure.

karcher is even weaker at 1700psi roughly.

For a $100-150 one, it probably doesn't matter either way. Think I'll go with the Gerni though, as it seems reasonably powerful at that price.

if u decide on a gerni (wise choice

) shop around, i bought the 130 for $350 from mitre 10, supercheap wouldnt go below $380.

Both have their ups and downs. Gerni is better but is more expensive for replacement parts, because of the above already mentioned reasons (brass).

So for price, I'd go with the Karcher

Just bought a Gerni Classic 100.2S and I must say I love it. Tried it on the car and it's pretty awesome. I haven't used the detergent attachment as yet, but so far things are looking great.
Used the thing on my pavement, and it looks newer than ever.

There's probably not much difference between Gerni and Karcher under $150, but for the sake of the "metal pump", I reckon go for Gerni.
