Hi all, in the market for an SX

Postby C4SX » Thu Jan 13, 2011 7:24 pm

Hi all,

In the market for a Lancer SX. Test drove one and performance was light years ahead of everything else in my budget (Fiestas and 2s). Good to see there's such a strong community for these here. Value versus cost of the SX trim has left me wondering what the catch is.

Will dash off to the buying advice forum now~

Welcome to the club. The SX is a great model which has the sexy wing on the back. Lancers are great value for money and great warranty which
Holden and ford will never match.

Hey mate,

I just got one of these for the mother in law. Blue SX.

Where abouts in Sydney are you? Perhaps I can put you in touch with the dealership that helped me out.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

@CA, I'm out west near Parramatta. I'll try the dealer here although I test drove at Suttons Arncliffe and had a good experience with the staff there. Whereabouts did you go?

Liverpool.

I found the Parramatta dealership a bit.. umm.. well I think I knew more about the Evo I was about to buy than they did.

Let me know if you need help.

Hi Cameron,

Welcome to the Club :) The SX is a fine car. I just brought mine a week ago and I'm in love with it. No complaints thus far. It has a few extra comforts that the ES doesn't and its not that much more, so price wise its very good. All Mitsubishi's have an excellent warranty as well. Com paired to the other cars I drove in the same price range its well above their standards. I say if you like it go for it. Happy Car shopping :D

The only thing I didnt like was the lack of courtesy lights at the front. Does anyone know if this can be added?
