Kids and cars

Postby AJjnr86 » Thu Jan 13, 2011 1:36 pm

Well I have a funny feeling that kids and cars don't go well together, mainly because today a mechanic was out on a road test in a customers car and had a little girl decide she wanted to try take on the car on her bike, let's say the car came out on top

Then Saturday just gone watched two kids on scooters do pretty much the same thing, crossing a road at traffic lights when their little man was red because the light was green for cars to turn right, the lady couldn't see them past the stopped cars

All kids r ok, a bit sore and hopefully have learnt that cars will hurt u, basically the thing I would like to see is more road safety beaten into young kids. If u r a parent, going to b a parent or look after kids, teach them else a front bumper will...

.

I swear ... they must be making kids dumber & dumber these days.?

It's just a common sense thing that parents just don't teach their kids.?

My sister of 1 example of plain discipline ... sitting on the fence here, I wanna smack them myself.! - They're just completely WILD.?

Screaming, yelling, I want this, I'm bored etc ... No responsibilities ... they just don't listen to ya.? - The problem lie's with the " Parents " ... They must be the dumb ones.?

So if parents don't teach their kids simple " road safety rules ", what the hell do they expect if their kids get knocked over 1 day by a car.? - Guess they'll learn the hard way.?

Speaking of wild kids ... I saw a little 5 year old really mucking up and her Mum just gave her a slight Tap on the butt and the little girl YELLED back at her mum and said You are not allowed to smack me Iam telling on you , I know thats what the schools are telling the kids to do now a days, But The Thing that shocked me the most was the way This 5 yr old yelled and spoke to her Mother and the Mother didn't say anything back to this little Darling

when in public, you dont smack the kids.

you sneeze, cover your mouth, as you sneeze you swing your arm down and backhand them. Its just a sneeze and not smack ;)

Its ridiculous in my book, theres beating a child and disciplining one. A smack on the bum never did me any harm as a little rug rat

+ 1 agreed wholeheartedly.

With my kids, I'm always reminding them to watch the road before crossing.

They still just cross sometimes and that drives me nuts.

At the end of the day it's the parents responsibility to teach their children. Thats what it was in the olden days....
