Danny,

I have a set installed and BTW I love them... they have been in for about 6 months and they still look great and I still get comments about the leather smell :)

As far as the Air bags go its not that bad.

On the underside of the seat there are 2 connections to remove. One Grey and one Yellow if my memory serves me. The 2 connections are for the seat belt sensor and the air bag.

So in terms of removing the front seat covers it isn't that hard :)

Hope that helps.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for replying!
It's good to know that it has been done. I'm probably interested in getting some place like Concord Customs to install it, but wanted to see if it was an issue or not.

Cheers,
Danny

Once the seat has been removed/reinstalled and battery hooked back up does the car display airbag warnings? How much do Mitsu charge to remove?

Is there a member in Melbourne that is willing to have a visitor/meet up somewhere and have a look at the quality of it... even though i haven't heard anything bad about it... i guess my mind wont be at rest till i feel it myself... If anyone would be of help that would be fantastic!

Don't think anyone in Melb has the xfactor leather installed mate :(. not that it helps you as I am 1500kms away but I have the xfactor leather in my car and it is great. The fit is like it was factory fitted nice and tight and I only have one small crease in the back seat (the first seat I done) but it can be seen easily.

here is a pic of my installhttp://clubcj.net/viewtopic.php? ... c&start=15

all the marks in the pics is dirt on my camera lense.

The link doesn't work because he accidentally put the word "install" in the beginning of the link:

installhttp://clubcj.net/viewtopic.php? ... c&start=15

Here is the proper working link:

i would love these. but is there anywhere i can go to have them professionally fitten? i've had quotes for OEM ones from some other place in tulla for around 2500 which is a bit crazy, but id be willing to pay it it ment having it all done for me, and i wouldnt have to worry about anything.

I read on another thread that concord customs would do an install for around $400-600, so that would still only be around $1100-1300 total instead of $2500.

Ring around some local customs shops and im sure they would be able to give a ball park figure on the install.
Red goes faster. MUCH faster.
