Hey guys just a heads up, the condition of Kyogle Rd between Uki and the Nimbin turnoff is just atrocious...be very weary of travelling this part of the rd at speed there are pot holes big enough to swallow a small car, the rd is severely chopped up in places. One of my biker mates was through there a few days back and it's bad plus they are getting a crap load of rain at the moment.

well given frazza's update on the road condition along with the fact that it is currently pouring outside and the weather forecast says it will be raining for the next few days you may want to consider postponing this cruise steve. even if it were to stop raining tonight it would still take several days for some of those roads to dry out let alone any debris be cleared off them. you could always move your mini meet to this weekend and have it some where undercover. just a thought

... and I just had confirmation from my +1..... LOL
Ah well... better to save our suspension and side skirts for when the roads are a bit better and there isn;t a torrent of water washing over them.
I might not be able to make the 22nd - so we'll see how the dates works out?
I doubt the roads would be 'repaired' before then either, so the potholes will still exist...
With Oz Day that following week, do we perhaps even delay it a few more weeks into Feb??
N.B. Treasure Hunt coming up too... Bribie Beach Cricket... A few things on in the Qld. camp in the coming weeks.....

for those that are dissapointed, as i am, we could still do this little one, its sorta pick a road and go, we could have a counterlunch at st bernards hotel, mt tambourine? (instead of lunch at the park).
