^ It depends on the car and the driver but I think it's been proven that higher octane does lead to better fuel economy, better performance, and offers engine cleaning benefits... but whether that's enough to justify the price difference is still up in the air.

I think it is only the 98RON 'premium' fuels like BP Ultimate, Caltex Vortex98 and Shell's V Power that have the added detergents for engine cleaning. The fact it is 98RON alone doesn't mean it will clean the engine.
As far as I know, none of the 95RON available have detergent option.

running 95 ron fuel may induce slight detonation under hard driving conditions. Worst case is the ecu will pick up slight knock and retard timing and richen the fuel up. It would be okay for normal daily driving but stay with 98 if you plan on pushing it hard.

Which reminds me i need to get in touch with david to get the file off him.
Yeah sounds like going to cost more to go back to the standard tune, but the question is will we go back?? lol The only plans i have at this stage is maybe a full dyno and maybe a axle back exhaust.
I have noticed when using the CVT in manual mode, the car certainly picks up a bit quicker in 1st gear after the reflash, around 3000 rpm.
Leaving it in Auto mode, cant tell much differance.
