grrr havent started, i had to update the PS3, then for the game to load quicker you install it onto the hard drive :(

but in about 5 minute i hopefully will start playing :D

Apparently a major department store at a certain shopping centre released it yesterday, so the specialist game store in the same centre got permission to release it as well...

Unless I'm mistaken, i thought the idea of having a console, Is you load the game, then play off the disk. These days nearly every game you buy for ps3, it installs on the hard drive.

it all the environment data and the like, reason being is that HDD access is a lot faster then Disc access plus it gives the game two channels in which to load data from thus increasing gameplay speed while using alot of high end graphics.

either way, you can install before you start playing and waste time then or the let the game install the content in smaller pieces as you progress through the game (meaning you waste time in between races) -- i took the latter option because I really couldn't wait !

So far the game is alright, im enjoying it but all I've used so far is the Evo X in arcade ... :D

I think I'll wait a bit until it drops in price as I have no time to play (just bought NFSHP and still haven't played much) and based on historical experiences with buying games at launch, they drop in price very quickly.

hows the new NFS? and how much did u get it for? wish gt5 wasn't ps3 exclusive :(

NFS is pretty crap,

GT5 is only $77 from harvey or $129 for the collectors
