It still seems like these medial proceedings are being considered as 'laughable' by Adrian as he knows he can do an "OJ Simpson" and never pay back the money.

i think you would have to actually sue him for the legal action to be repossession.

and you will probably find that if he does drag it out long enough he will get out of paying it. or it will go to a point where he will start paying it back but it will be at pittance a week. its happened many a times, they get forced to pay it back , yes they pay it back. but it takes 10years. i know of a few people in a similar situation, took 6 months to get a decision, then it ended up as a 10 year deal on the repayments.

yessir, the wheels of justice grind slowly :)

and even then we bypassed the mediation process because i told the court that adrian has never paid back 1 cent nor attempted to do so, (so mediation would be a waste of time), all we got was empty promises.
the court agreed with that POV.

stupid thing is on his part, the longer he takes to pay us back the more he pays at 10% per annum :), $6700, is $670 a year interest, whats that?, $12/13 a week?, heh.

If I may,
If Adrian is indeed seeing this, there are a few others who didnt participate in this case that are still owed as well
Don't forget them either!

not to say bad of the people who didn't go with the case, but legal standings as they didn't go in with the case or they are not stated on the case. then i don't think he would have to pay them back. unless they take there own legal action again.

It's easy for people to say what should have been done
But at the time I made a decision based on what I felt for a so called long time standing and trusted friend.
I kept hoping our friendship stood for something
If Adrian chooses not to repay me then I have to deal with that

jase, sorry, not 8 months, this is a rough breakdown of time:

4 months to smell a rat then flush him out
2 weeks to decide which way to pursue him (liason thread)
6 weeks of waiting for adrians reply (time allowed by law)
2 weeks snail mail
1 month in the tribunal, not too bad at all.
