Moving the steering wheel

Hi, this is going to probably be one of the simplest questions in the whole forum

but how the hell do i move my steering wheel up? it keeps hitting my stupid knee! i read the manual which was rather unclear

Look under your steering wheel. Smack dab right in the middle is a lever you can pull to release the lock

ahh thanks man! i thought that was it but it wouldnt budge and i only just got the car so i didnt wanna break anything

unfortunately it doesn't go up too much or have telescopic adjustment

It will be tight, but if you push up gently on the wheel to take the weight off - the lever is a little easier to move
