Apparenty Ben's (bd-850) wife says they have a slo-flo thing going on, so my initial excitement at 15mL absorption was a bit premature, so far 50mL according to the measuring cup they're soaking in. .... and yes I have pix (as Ben had asked for them already). LOL.
So now you know.
I tihnk I might leave the house now......

Okay Sam and Pete I have already done the experiment and I found some brands held more then others but some lasted longer.

I am interested to compare results.

Hey Troy, are you refering to the "Retention Value" over a "Specific Time Period".

I've also heard the Viscosity can influence the results, so perhaps VRX Pete shouls add a little red cordial to his soak test.

if you want the box , fold it and bring home :D

Did pretty much that. Midpipe *just* fits in the back diagnoally with front passenger seat pushed forward. Worried about my leather seats so wrapped the whole thing in bubblewrap.

The two cannons sit in the boot inside a box with some padding from the original box.

All good. But now I have no bootspace (well, it did fit my laptop bag... JUST) and no back seat. Can't wait to get it installed.

That being said this was brand new and clean. I'd hate to think what I'm going to do on Saturday if the Evo exhaust is all connected with no joins (i.e. the midpipe is just as long) but is also dirty. Better bring bubble wrap to wrap it.

I got this today, only ordered on it Sunday arvo.
$169US + $18.20 Standard FedEx = $187.20US.
Exchange rate = $196 AUS.

Image

Not entirely sure on how to use it yet, so if anyone wants to be the Guinea Pig and offer their car first, I'm happy to oblige.

PS: Not Responsible if "WTF" Happens.

Surely Pete and I cant be the only two blokes with sexually twisted minds of intrigue.

Or are the rest of you all to vain and embarassed to fess-up.

Hey Pete, its just stopped raining, have you got the results yet ?

In school we had this done for us a few times. One time though freaked everyone out as it wasnt that they hold much liquid but more so one where it came from... All the other tests were safer. The pads ones, we didnt get to test those ones but the other one; they blow out like little balloons almost. Sure did open up a whole lot of new questions haha

Its like that broad bean thing we all did when we were in Grade 1 and 2, plant them and watch them grow. Though with these, put them in a cup and time them on how long they take to soak everything up

Guys are usually interested in these things as its something we dont use.

I got this in the mail today. It was a nice little surprise.

The letter that came with it reads: "By now, you've probably run-in your new Lancer, got the feel for it and started putting it through its paces. We hope so. Because Mitsubishis are designed and built to be driven. And when you see what it can really do, you'll love your Lancer as much as we do."

If that isn't advocating "spirited" driving then I don't know what is! :P
