Privacy glass does not protect the car (seat material etc) or occupants from UV light, which over time can damage car interior and also causes sun burn. If you want to protec tthe car and people in it (especially young kids) from the sunlight, you need to apply a UV resistant clear film.

Glass blocks like all of UVC and Pretty much all of UVB which are the high energy 'ironising' rays, UVA is low energy and doesn't do that much damage unless you bake yourself for hours on end.
