NATIONAL MEET heading to melbourne (3rd,4th,5th december)

a few of us guys from all up the east coast are heading to melbourne and picking up stragglers on the way.

we will be staying at

friday 3rd, saturday 4th and sunday 5th of december
i`m heading down from brisbane and meeting some of the guys, from the central coast and sydney at temora, thursday night
with the plan being we all drive together to the hotel getting there about early afternoon friday.
then we will meet some of the victorians.

coming home sunday afternoon probably.

EDIT: LZY_EYE, MiztaB and Chubb will be coming home Monday morning.

Here is the proposed Itinerary for Friday 3 -> Sunday 5 December 2010

Friday 3
1700hrs : Meet @ The Garage Cafe. Names to faces and Dinner
1930hrs : Cruise to Crown Casino. Gamble til 2200hrs or later
clubcj admin will buy each PREMIUM MEMBER that attends a round of drinks or fingerfood at crown casino or the garage cafe (whichever we decide on the day)
2X00hrs : End of Day 1.

Saturday 4
1030hrs : All to meet at Preston Motors Ralliart.
1200hrs : Lunch
NOTE: this is a normal working day for PMR so please do not interfere with any PMR staff or customers
1400hrs : Lunch end

Sunday 5
early cruise to Mt Dandenong

ive done the Brisbane to Temora road and its a nice drive No dirt.

For those who want to stay at a motel in Temora this is the cheapest in town. plus for those tight ar$es im gona tidy up room out the back so we could fit 5 maybe abit more people, or if you like to camp we have plenty of grass to camp on.

Hey steve, what time u leaving Wednesday, just need to know if I need to take off early, so we should b back round tuesday sometime?

ayron, we should leave 9 or 10 ish wednesday night (whatever suits u), and yes i must be back tuesday afternoon, evening.

from myrtleford to brisbane is a bout 18 hours which is a long drive, so we can either just push the long ride or stay monday night in dubbo, then its just a 10 hour drive home, leaving dubbo after breakfast.
if we leave dubbo about 8 at the latest we get home about 5 or 6 tuesday evening, earlier for u i guess

Something along the lines of:

Cruise along Jacka Bvd & Marine Pde, stopping at Elwood Foreshore Park for a bit of a meet and great/Get to know you type of thing,
then cruise around the city, do a bit of sight seeing and some diner at the Crown Casino, something along Lygon street,
or at The Garage Cafe (pic from one of our meets)

Saturday:
Cruise out to a performance workshop. Would need to arrange something with someone like Creatd Motorsport(Nick@PMR should be able to help out here)
for a BBQ and Dyno day, doing a lap of the Albert Park F1 race circuit on the way. Then cruise back to your Hotel in St Kilda via King Lake / Black Spur(nice long cruise)
Or
We could cruise to Phillip Island and do a guided tour of the race track then head to Cowes for lunch and maybe a bit of bowling before heading back to St Kilda.

Sunday:
Morning cruise through the Mornington Peninsula.. Mt Marthur to Portsea Pub for lunch then back to St Kilda hotel via Arthurs Seat..

Or something along those lines...
These are just a few ideas to start the ball rolling. I think its time for the Vic admin team to start planning something BIG.

Well I do have time, sometimes but its not constant. Sometimes I get really busy with work and don't get a chance to do anything else. To be a Mod you really need to have more available time and spend more time on here then I do.

Friday Night-> Theme Melbourne City by Night. I will contact Garage Cafe to try and book it for the night. Perhaps push on to Crown Casino by night for abit and hopefully a photo session by the Docklands?

Saturday -> We'll visit PMR and Creat'd. Hopefully Nick @ PMR can help us with this. Dinner somewhere in the North?

Sunday -> Let's do a final cruise from the city out to the suburbs. We start bright and early go for a nice long cruise to somewhere.
