For the states that have day light saving don't forget to put your clocks forward 1 hour

No Jake they were not joking. People can be such ill informed idiots,....yes the curtains will fade, ...it "creates" an extra hour daylight etc.
Given our fairly mild winter weather it would be better to have it in the winter months when the daylight hrs are shorter anyway to have more light in early evening but of course that will never work as everyone worldwide does it in Summer when the weather is "better", otherwise who wants to go outside in the "harsh" winter weather.
Yes we can forever kiss it goodbye here in WA.
