G'day
We also picked up our VRX on Wednesday and are getting to know it
It was a showroom display "demo " and had 13klm on the clock when we looked and 16klm on delivery day
Most new cars are nice to drive but this thing is FUN to drive
It goes hard even now so am looking forward to getting a few more klm on the clock and giving it a bootfull.

Now a question for other VRX owners --------- Doe's the red LED on the lower dash near the hazard switch blink when car is parked and locked?
Ours doe's not , so either its got a fault or maybe its only cars with alarm that blink.
My Nissan 4x4 blinks when parked locked or not and it is immobilizer only and no alarm.

Nathan (Chubb) is right. There is no light globe of any description in that spot.
The only model that has a flashing LED in there is the Ralliart which comes standard with a factory alarm.
I'm not sure about the EVO-X.

You can place your own LED in there if you fit an alarm since there is plenty of room in the space provided to accomodate a 3mm LED and its wiring.

thats pretty crap, even my old carolla which i traded in for the lancer has a flashing security light, but i guess the awsome ride makes up for that

Thanks for the info.
It leaves me wondering why during the handover the salesman pointed it out told us its a visual warning !
