I am looking at putting an led light strip in my boot as apposed to the current boot light. What is the easist way to do so?

Does anyone know someone that sells Neons/Cold Cathodes?

I've been looking at getting some strip lighting for the doors, more as a safety/asthetics thing. How did you wire them up, to the door switch or some other harness...? Is the door switch just a relay or can you pull power from it?

Hey pete, i wired these up by tapping with the dome lights and put a switch between it, so everytime when the door opens the LED strips light will come on..

I can also switch them off by putting a switch between it.. ill grab a pic for you of the switch brb lol

Here it is Pete :D

So basically the LED is getting power from the dome light itself, so if i turn the custom switch off, the dome light still works but the LED will not.

Hope this helps :)

Its easy to do, but takes alot of stripping the side panels and such, cause i did it on all 4 doors :)

So you had to run 4 different cables from the dome light down each B-pillar then to the door hinges? Sounds quite involved.... LOL
Must be an easier way to tap the relay behind the dash assembly where the dome is fed power. :) :)

Yeah the "dclub fog/smoke" feature, is not something I want, tho it would look sick with my blue LEDs in the car. hahahaha
