ra depreciation value
do you think the ra will hold its value a little better over the next 5 years compared to the wrx because there is not as many off them and the car is a little bit better set up would like to trade up to a evo 11 when it comes out and when ive finished playing with this one ?
I think Subarus in general have better resale, just because of the brand name if anything. On the other hand, you will spend much more on servicing and parts.. and bit more on fuel compared to the ralliart. Might end up the same after 5 years anyway.

resale value for both the wrx's and Ralliarts will go down the drain and quick!!! I think this is due to the Ralliart looking exactly like the VRX. People would be put off by the TC-SST transmission in a few years time when the factory warranty runs out (who would want one that has been launched left foot brake, right foot throttle so many times)
If you check 'carsales.com' the same Ralliarts have been trying to sell for around 33k for the last 8-10 months. If that doesn't show that not many people want a second hand one - then nothing will! Even dealers have probs trying to sell one with 10,000k's on the clock. If it was a 3 pedal manual, maybe a different story.
The Wrx's will go down because there have been too many changes in the last 3 years - Hatch with 169kw to both hatch and sedan with 195kw to the newest year's wide-body models. And the people who bought in the last 2 years have been screwed. Its the same things as the HSV Clubsports......too many mini updates / tweaks that no one wants the old ones without cutting the cost dramatically.
