Spilt Petrol on the car

Ok so I was filling up usually i can hear the petrol tank getting full and i back off.
Today I zoned out and I think about a ltr of petrol spat out over the car, I quickly tipped a full thing of water over the car.

Is there anything else i should do?

Water usually washes petrol off well, but just wash ur car this weekend, I usually just grab the window squeegee and wash the side with that then squeegee off as soon as I spill

Yeah that's what im going to do i should be able to get out of the office early tomorrow so ill wash it then

A coat of wax or two wouldnt hurt either
