Basically they come pre wired.
They come pre wired on both sides of the strip so that u can split them in half and it still be wired.
All you need to do is power/ground.
I spliced mine into parking lights so that if i forget to turn the switch off and i turn of the car, they go off.

In my first post in this thread i used 2x "6inch"
and then i changed them to 2x "1 foot"

The second photo has a lot of glare cos it was taken with a iphone in bad light.
They are a cool white, Same colour as around a 6k xenon, of course not as bright but that white colour.

a 6000K xenon is blue...

Hey Deano,
This looks flash! Really like it.
Quick question, how flexibe is the led strip? If you try and mold it into a shape will it snap?

Thanks

Very flexible, same sorta flex as a normal led strip.
The only problem i can see is if u want to flex it 90degrees...

I was hoping to run it along the headlight, and it needs to be fairly flexible for that :P

I've done the same thing as Deano on my car. Was contemplating other placements but I think 'around the headlights' is too ricey.

Fail photo, but you get the idea.
They're quite visible, I set them a bit too far in so you need to be a few metres away to see them standing up. But it'll do :D
As you can see they're bright enough to significantly light up the ground.

'Side-emitting Headlight Strips' from oznium.com (neutral white).
Oh and the CCFL tubes.
And the parkers (neutral white again). :P

All 10/10 products. Not a single complaint from me. Except the CCFL's should come with 3M tape like the LED's :(

(that little black line on my radiator is electrical tape, I should get that off :P:P)

13.49US per foot (so I have 2 1ft strips so x2).

We did a WA group buy to save on postage cos we're poor bastards :P
