Blanka's angel eyes
ok peoples finally my camera and my internet is in one place so that means that i can now upload some pics of my angel eyes. i had installed them a few weeks ago but due to my camera being down innisfail low on battery and my charger up cairns i couldnt take any pics*note my camera is not the best but it will do lolz*
installing took about 3 1/2 hours lucky i did it in the morning cos it got really hot towards 12 noon lolz. Installation guide can be found here http://clubcj.net/viewtopic.php?t=572
i basiclly followed the instructions was pretty easy, first remove the front bumber, just some screws and clips then it comes off, then remove the 3 screws thats holding the headlight to the car n walla headlights comes out *remember to take all the bulbs out first*
was a bit scared of baking the headlights in the oven at first but it turned out ok set oven to 100 degrees n put light in for 5 mins. After that it should come apart pretty easy, just undo the clips.* i got a scissor to help me cut the glue a bit but once the headlight is opened its all smooth sailing there.
Resealing is just as simple put the headlight bak together n bake it for 5 min at 100 degrees then push hard on it n make sure u get all the clips to clip in.
I did find that my lights were a bit off when i was driving at night so i had to adjust them, easy process heres link http://clubcj.net/viewtopic.php?t=118
ok the high beam ring *which is the little one fits perfectly but the low beam does not so its out a bit just fiddle with it untill u think u got it best as u could.
as u can see on this image if u look closely at the big ring u can see it is not sitting perfectly but thats the best i got it
here r some pics i took last night n this morning *note i drove from cairns to innisfail last night so my car has alot of dead bugs on it havent washed it yet*
on wiring i wired the angel eyes to the little light on the side of the headlight so it always comes on when i turn the lights on
they look very sexy lolz my cousin owns a ch lancer n he wants to order these rings lolz. Thanks to Eric at AutomoGlow for the installation guide it really helped

What I'm planning to do also....
Nice Blanka - thanks for the write up and piccies.... ** My turn next...
Hey - Did you need to drill a hole for the cables? or rather, how did you thread the cables out of the headlight housing....?
And - did you Sicone seal yours down onto the rings, or just use the stickie pads....?
I might have to try and get mine sorted out soon....

I'd do it myself but I'm scared shitless of a) pulling my car apart to install them and b) baking the headlights. It sorta feels like..i dunno...holding live birds underwater to see if they can swim...
ahahaahah pulling the car apart is pretty easy but yeh i was pretty scared of the baking part
