Yeah it can be done, think the main prob is getting them open. I've read on other forums of people blacking out their rear headlamps and the results were really good judging by the pics.

The VRX, Aspire and Ralliart sedans are the only ones to have them. The VRX 2.0ltr has the red lights and all the new 2.4ltr's has the black ones.

Hi there, for the tail lights, don't want to be the one to bring bad news but it doesn't works ... without breaking them, there's no "safe" way to "open" the tail lights !! I've try'd it !!!

I install the angel eyes in my headlights (so i had to "bake them" to open them) but the tails lights doesn't use the same glue, or it doens't react to heat ! In fact, it can be worst, the plastic is softer so if your not carefull, you might not be able to put them back because they'll take an other shape !

I don't recommand it to anyone !! I was lucky enough to be able to put them back, but i lost 30 minutes for nothing ... at least you know that,s not the way to open them ... if it's ever possible (but it,s not really worth it because the tail lights is already tinted red so it wouldn't give the same effect as the RA tail lights)

But i can bring good news and show you (for those who haven't seen it yet) the new Lancer Tail Ligts : http://www.evosoul.com/blog/?p=483

I asked for a quote and will see where and how much we could have those ! 8) But if anyone have more news on this, let us know please...
