Service center
Where do you guys usually service your cars? Which is a cheap and good service center in perth? My car is reaching the 45000 mark soon and hope to find a reliable and cheap place to service the car. Thanks

Paceway has cheaper service prices than Mitsu out at Wangara.
So if NOR that is probably your best bet.
I got car at Paceway and get a 10% discount on parts and service so it basically pays the GST.
You only need 1 service a year at dealer for them to extend your roadside assist for another year. If u dont care about that you can go to any place you like.
At end of third year, which is this year for me, Mitsu has to inspect car to sign off on full warranty out to 5 years.

i try to avoid car dealer service centres, most of them are fairly average, if not outright dodgy. way too expensive as well.
the one exception i found may be John Hughes as Ribbands has mentioned. I bought my last 2 cars from them, so i used their service centre in Welshpool without any problems...except the very first time i took my car there and they tried to rip me off. I declined all the extra (completely unnescessary) work and they never did try that again. Perhaps they were just testing the water as i'm female so i supposedly don't know anything about cars? lol. they still aren't as cheap as some independant mechanics though.
other than that, i would prefer an independant mechanic recommended by someone you know, or who has a good rep.
i only take my RA back to DVG Midland as they're the closest dealer to me for the capped price servicing. Tend to agree with you Fizy about them, although have only had one service so far.
my CH Lancer got it's last service before i traded it in at a mechanic in Canning Vale. they washed/cleaned the car (who does that anymore?) put in a car "bin" (plastic bag on the glove box) AND left me a bag of lollies in the console plus they charged a decent price for all the work they did. would still be going there if i didn't have capped price.
