White is great for our cars. Makes simple visual mods look fantastic (ie adding black bits :P).

Why are you asking? Gonna suprise us with something? :D

I would've gone white but my options were limited to black or grey.

I bought blue...

1 - it looks great in that colour
2 - its less likely to be hit in bad lighting (ie overcast/storm etc)

I spend ALOT of time on the road (50k+kms per year) and can say that silver/white cars suck for being seen in bad conditions...
I have a 3 year old son who KNOWS i should drive faster! So why do i get fined?!?

From memory the stats on black/grey/white/silver (basically the shades of grey) make you more likely to be involved in an accident in adverse weather due to the car blending in to the road.

Its not you - its the other couple of million idiots who pay no attention to their surrounding when driving in adverse conditions...

I thought it was dark colours blending in with the surroundings whereas light colours such as yellow or white are easier to see hence less accidents? I suppose not! That or there are just way too many OLD white cars out there! :P

Anyway, on a side not, my gf has a black sp23, and it has been hit twice at the back at the traffic lights when she has been stationary for ages. The two excuses given were - I didn't see your car!.. and this is near the city with lots of lighting!
