Today some prick took a big chunk out of my rear bumper in the car park and pissed off. So now i need a new one!

So i'm quite happy (prefer) going aftermarket.

However the mrs wants to go genuine Mits

just wanted to know what kind of price Mits charge for a new rear bar?

proably around 500-600 and i think they come pre painted? otherwise unpainted

Im guessing your insurance must be high since your not making a claim? I have drunk people scratches on my car where someones toppled over on it or something. Yeah. No where is safe -.-

yeh i know how you feel my car is parked in my driveway and my little numb nuts neighbours kids decide to play with a 2 metre steel pole which they get frm who knows where and scratch my rear door panel above the glass its not that bad and im lucky its not noticeable

That really sucks that some clown has down that to ur pride and joy, that's y since I got my CJ I park well away from everyone, kills me when I have to park close to someone cause I think I'm gonna come back to a mark where someones opened their car door onto mine

Hope u can convince the misus that it's better to get an aftermarket bumper & or kit

Is the rear structurally sound? I guess you wouldn't want to just mask any damage to the rear with the new bumper.

Hopefully it'll work out for you with the replacement.
