Wow some really nice new features there. Doubt sound insulation will make it to the Evo. But good stuff with the colour screen and whatnot. I thought the Evo already had a welcome light when you remote unlocked the car?

On another note though, what is the folding mirrors? Is it the electronic ones?

I'm surprised we don't have it. Even my Honda FD1 from 2006 had auto up/down.

Are they brakes & insulation that bad in the current model lancers?

Will the price of the VR's be lower? Might be worth holding off until then if they are.

Unlikely that the MY11 pricing will be lower. Think about it when has new models ever been cheaper than old ones? They will probably firesale the MY10s then those will be cheaper anyways.

Mitsu brakes are by far the best of any of the Jap brands but the kizashi raised the level with akebono brakes so they had to step up.

Insulation in the first batch MY08 were terrible. Then they gradually improved it. Still not ideal even in MY10s so I think the MY11 will really go all out.

most likely there won't be more sound insulation introduced to the evo MR as the 2010 got some extra insulation compared to the 2008 ones, not too sure about the GSR.

the window feature would be so nice , hate it when you pay your parking ticket and still gotta hold onto the button when driving away

elevators use a laser screen. if anypart if it is interupted it stops the motors and reverts to the open doors mode. quite expensive and unpratical in a car. it would be more understandable if they use a current monitoring circuit, that has a start up tolerance(for motor large inrush current when starting), and goes for running load. any higher then that and it cuts power to motor. ie something blocking the screen cauesing the motor to draw more to keep the window doing up.

that would be trains, id say

elevators use a lasor screen they are usually green, you can see them when you look in to the open door usually, usualy just 3-4 lasors that have a vertical spread, with a reciver on the other side. or they would have lasors on both sides and recivers on both sides. unless they have changed from when i last looked at one.

Is it our cars where the windows shut automatically after locking?
Oh well ONE of the cars I've driven does it, and it shut on my friends neck, he was fine :P (but couldn't get free till I unlocked it haha).

Hmmm... are there any cosmetic changes planned? If not i'll probably look at a MY10 ES as they lower the prices for the new ones..
