Sorry Guys, won't be able to make this one.
I have just aggrevated an old back injury from 5yrs ago, two slipped discs in the lower back. I cant spend much more than about 10 mins in the car at the moment, can hardly walk, probly have to go thru physio again later when i'am more mobile.
Can i suggest if you go up the freeway thru Mt. Barker, Wistow, turn off to head towards Strathalbyn, Goolwa, then onto Victor Harbor, then home straight back up Sth Rd to the city.
Have a good and safe cruise everyone
Cheers
Eric

hey guys
eric, thats not good to hear. i have a had a few bad back problems in the past, can really stuff ya up a bit. hopefully the physio helps, if not try swimming. thats what my physio told me to do, although i never ended up doing it.
luke and jason, yeah i had a ;look at the map to and noticed its not very exciting. i didnt make the map. i have no idea how to get to victor, so maybe if one of u guys can suggest some nice windy fun roads. maybe we could go the way eric said in the above post.

Still think the route from mt barker to strath (via flaxley and macclesfield) that i gave you is the go then you can have all the straight roads ya want after that.
Just my 2 cents

the other option is to continue through south road to yankallia and then turn off to victor that way. it is a really nice drive up to myponga (awesome views of the sea) and then some twisties before the turn off. sth rd to yankallia and then turn off to the yankallia victor harbor road
