Thanks Everyone, good to be back in the seat (when I'm allowed ) Do like the silver as should be reasonable colour to maintain.
Insurance did find me at fault although I have not heard anything from the Police.
As for the insurance on the new car, excess DROPPED by $50, & premiums dropped by about $3 a fortnight, go figure ? Will be reading the policy very carefully when I recieve it.

Good to see you got sorted mate. Silver is a good choice (that was second on my list). These cars are seriously strong too.
Here's the side on crash test video to prove it.

Congrats on the new RA
Lets hope this one has a much much longer life
Silver is a pretty good colour to maintain, I can usually get away with washing mine every 2-4 weeks before it starts to look pretty dirty

Would not want to be a rear adult passenger...
Anyway looks like the lancer is good at taking hits. this is the second stuffed ralliart, both times drivers walk away. Good news for drivers, their families and other lancer owners.

Cheers, I seriously hope this one stays around for a few years & happy with the colour choice.Really need to get along to cruise to meet a few members.
QBE are going to love me, O"Briens will be making a visit tomorrow to repair the windscreen, a stone flicked up from a speeding passing car today & hit the windscreen small enough to repair as long as it doesn't get any bigger during the day.

May I ask what tyres are you using on your 20" rim?
will get some photos up soon, the rims are fitted with Achilles ATR Sports,
I know not the greatest but it what was allowed for in the insurance payout budget, will see how they go over the next few months but so far no complaints.

Good to hear that everything worked out.
My finace works for insurance for Allianz.
She said to check your new policy as when you get a replacement vehicle from a cliam they change your policy from agreed value to market value.
Therefore the extras that you are getting put on the new car that were covered this time will not be covered next time as it is a replacement vehicle.
That's probably why your premiums and excess have dropped, better check that out.
Cheers
Got new policy today & all good, still retain no claim bonus & 4 year new car replacement

So what's the size of these tyres? Did you get your car lowered?
They are 235/30/20 & at this stage car is not lowered due to the fact I need to purchase a new TBE & then Insurance will refund me, then I will
be looking at lowering.
