Qld has those mobile cameras everywhere already, they usually only use a few makes of cars/vans and can only set up in certain locations

They also have to follow strict rules set out by main roads, just check up on that for NSW

The CJs cruise control doesn't touch your brakes, it simply regulates throttle position. The slowing down your are feeling is compression braking, whereby the car has cut off fuel injection and the motor is simply generating resistance via thermodynamic compression. On a decent hill you can still easipy go overspeed when cruise is on...
