I know that this post is going to cause a lot of reaction and if so then so be it. Some may also say I have no right to comment as I am not a party who is involved in any way with the situation at hand and if that's the case then each to their own. But I'm posting it anyway.
Things happen and until we are in certain situations we don't know how we will react. We act with good intentions and some times it works, other times it doesn't.
A lot of the people who have commented on the recent actions no doubt have never been in a situation such as happened with Adrian, and may well possibly act in the same way if they were. Extreme situations make the mind work in extreme ways.
I suppose what has p****d me off is that all of these people - so called friends and mates - have suddenly turned. Fair enough they are angry, disappointed and feel betrayed, but the situation as I see it is not one of premeditated deceit, but a situation that got out of hand. It happens.
Browsing through posts over the time I have been a member, I have noticed a lot of snide comments, attacks and things said that probably should not have. I have let it go, but this latest episode has made me put my thoughts in writing.
We are a club. Don't we say to all new members we are here to support and help?
I am not condoning Adrian's actions in any way but just p****d at the reactions of some.
No-one in this club is perfect, and this situation has shown the other side of a lot of people. It's a shame really, as I always looked upon it as a family. As in all families, they stand by us, they help and assist. They don't judge and condemn.
We are all humans and make mistakes. We hurt others and don't always do what is in others best interests. But it would be nice to think we all have the maturity to forgive and support those who need it.
***** ALERT - Nominations for your new ClubCJ Committee can be made here *****
Just my thoughts

Well put mate. I have been thinking the exact same thing, but for obvious reasons I’ve not said anything more than I have had to on the site.
Now I’m not sticking up for Adrian, but who hasn’t made a mistake in their life. Granted this is a HUGE stuff up on Adrian behalf, but I really don’t think Adrian set out to do this deliberately. Everything started off fine at first. Then there was a hiccup, and I feel Adrian didn’t want to say anything because his reputation was on the line and felt like he could fix the problem before it got worse. But it did and now we are where we are.
How many of the members have had help by Adrian and have said how much of a great guy he is, he has made this mistake and EVERYONE turns their back on him.
Yes it’s a HUGE stuff up and Yes he did Lie to us all. But what would you do in the same situation?

Rarely post on the forum, but regularly read through, and 100% agree with Joel. For a guy that has only tried to do good for the club, and went about setting up the group buy with all good intentions, I think some people need to take a step back.
I admit what he has done is wrong, and agree with him losing his administration rights, but I also believe that he should be given the opportunity to repair the damage he has done, and then be accepted into the club again to continue helping everyone that is a part of the club.
The thing that pisses me off most out of all this, is the apparent "bravado" that some people seem to gain while on the internet from the safety of their home, saying things that they would never have the heart nor balls to say to the face of whoever it may be they are criticizing. The club as a whole is no where near as good as it used to be in my eyes, not however because of what SIR-VRX has done, but the way that people have treated him after this mistake, and the way certain people act in general on this forum.
Hopefully, the many decent people, with both the club and club members best interest in mind, will be able to continue to build the club into a great community again.
Matt.

I didn't create this thread to continue or encourage the ongoing discussion of the event in question.
It was merely my view on how I perceived the club and some of it's members.
