How low can you get.....

Postby shamrockshirts » Wed Jun 16, 2010 11:27 am

As some of you know, I picked up my new RA on Friday. Came out this morning to find someone has pinched the Ariel .... :o

Only evidence left was jean marks on the quarter panel to reach it. Thankfully they took some care and haven't scratched the car.

Its not the dollar figure that annoys me. Its the cheek. They've waited till the new car arrived and then helped themselves.

So looks like I'm gonna need a new ariel. does anyone know where can I get the Shark Fin Ariel and know the approx cost?

Cheers
John

Sorry to hear.
I don't know what more we can do but society is going down the sink hole... .

You can get a Sharkfin from Visual Garage. Should cost you about A$90.

But I agree with Sam, get a Perrin if reception is crucial for you.

@ Billyboy - Its is a bit of a coincidence.

@ Sam - Yeah I know what you mean (whats next)... Just thinking should I remove the only badge left on the back (i.e. Ralliart one)???

@ Ofey - Thanks mate, I'll save my pennies and get one of these on order.

Cheers
John

You know a few years back, there was an interview on TV about a new car alarm system that was developed in Asia. I think Singapore. What made this car alarm so 'special' was its ability to shoot flames out if any foul play happens to car.

Certainly will teach the little p***k a lesson it will never forget. Or electrify the car. P***k goes touchy touchy with the car and next he lights up like a christmas tree

EDIT - Mizta B Watch the language thanks

Go to a wreckers and get a Mitsubishi Colt aerial.... It's a thin 'whip' style aerial about 25-30cm long... far more unique than a stubby one or a sharksfin...

I got mine for $10 :)

Man that's no good!!! GRRRR

I'd say get one of those D-Link Security cameras with the IR for night time on it and keep it aimed where you park. So if the guy ever does anything again you could try to ID him or at the very least present the video to the police.

Could put those motion-sensitive lights around at least... Pretty sure they cost next to nothing.

Will never understand some people's motives.
