Have no idea what you're talking about :P

Put a toggle switch in, hook it up to power and to what its activating, and presto! :P

What I mean by a direct-fit one is just one where, if I take out the blank plastic places either side of the ESC button, will just fit in the hole left behind, rather than needing to cut or drill or anything to make it fit.

Ahh yeah I see what you meant.
But yeah, different thing :P
That makes me want to use an OEM switch now but yeah, they're made to just send a signal to the computer, not switch on/off. :(

Super sport would be interesting for you then!

lol, yes...yes it would! :D the jury's out on whether this would just be pure fun or downright dangerous with me behind the wheel though...haha.

aaah, goddamn i'm so jealous of your ability to do that at roundabouts, lol. i did get the RA almost drifting around a corner once, but i think i need better tyres before i try that again...

i'll be interested to hear the skyline story. they aren't known as hoon cars for no reason i'm sure :P

I've seen pics of someone that had one so I'm still hoping! :P

And stop complaining Laura! At least your back wheels do more than just follow the fronts :P

Its good not to have to listen to my friends for a change though... None of them have fast cars but they all brag about everything.
If you think the way you drive your excel is cool, you're just being dangerous.

who's complaining? lol. just stating what is required for safety reasons to drift around corners in anything other than an evo...:P

haha agreed. at least get a turbo 4cyl or a V8 before you start bragging. then it's acceptable. still annoying for those without the aforementioned, but acceptable  dangerous isn't the only word i would use to describe such people... but this is a G rated forum so i'll keep that to myself. lol.

on another note, someone at my work owns a 300zx. pity i don't know who it is, i'm sure we could brag all day together. haha.

man i dont know if i should continue with modding my car or leavin it alone and saving up to do up my RA when i get it in a year and a half...or do up the VR and try 2 sell each mod off separately from the car just before gettin the RA..... what do u guys think? all i have left for the VR is my rims which will be comin soon and the exhaust system with a stage 2 tune.... but that would total nearing 2000 so dunno if i should....

I can honestly say - when Mitsubishi say Super sport is for track use only they mean it. Unless you are ready for it it scares the crap out of you - its sooooo extreme to drive.

Without the 18" dunlops and S-AWC i would have been in a ditch...

Yeah, i was a hoon for a bit with the skyline... i can say that the one i bought had no speed limiter in it

I would also like to say that despite how much fun i have driving the evo (grinning ear to ear all the while) it is a car that really does not need to have been made... its so much a race car and feels so reigned in on the public roads. I spent a frustrating 5 mins at 20kms under the speed limit this arvo in the hills of kalamunda because the person in front was going slow. The car made me into a hoon...

Then i hit an on ramp onto roe highway, dropped it to 3rd and all my cares were left behind, along with the thoughts of it being a silly car for the road

Anyone free for an imprompted cruise tomorrow night?
I have a 3 year old son who KNOWS i should drive faster! So why do i get fined?!?
