WB zock :P good that we didn't lose you...

I'm going to do some messing around with wiring today (or at least looking at possibilities). Need to find the F-ing grommet to get through to the dash...

I didn't :P
However I did practice pulling apart the dash.
I could do everything I tried to EXCEPT the panel under the steering wheel. Which is the most important part if I'm to put switches in! Gah.
I'm hoping to find direct-fit switches after I get the panel off and check it out, so I can just replace the dummy spots rather than drill a hole in them.

I did buy a little 6-fuse box though, and have read about a grommet to the engine bay above the accelerator pedal which hopefully I can find when I get the panel off!

So I'll put the fuse box down near the pedals, and will probably run power from the cigarette lighter to the switches, then to the fuses, then the engine bay.

So at least I have a plan now :P

Edit: Oh and I got 25m of wire. Hopefully it does the trick.

I was at uni for a semester remember, so I had one lot of exams. Great not needing to worry anymore though :P and TER is still fresh in my mind.

Yeah idk. I just decided I'll hook them to a switch because I'll probably use them at night sometimes too (shh :P).

You'd probably have to make a little circuit to make them go off with headlights, too much effort/we suck too much.

I doubt I'm going to use my oznium one... Its just not the right shape. Plus if I have 2 switches I want them to be the same!

I was at auto one today, they have about 30 different kinds :P
If I find a direct-fit one like I'm hoping for (after I get the panel off :() I'll let everyone know.

lol i think most people in the forum cant find one that fits cuz the switches in our cjs are toggle switches that dont stay on when we press it.... basically to keep it turned u have to keep ure finger on the button.... thats wat sir vrx said in one of the threads where there were switches that fit in the empty slots... cuz the cj uses etacs to control the switches or something like that.... so basically if u have a switch u have to program it to etacs or something.... but u never know.... u might be lucky....
