Toggle Switch inside glove box?

Hi Guys,

was poking inside my glovebox yesterday looking for my phone case which had fallen behind the glove box, and found a toggle switch inside the glove box. It is located at the very back (you have to reach for it!) at the top in the middle, and for the life of me I can't figure out what it does. There is no light inside the glove box (I assume?), called a couple of Mitsu delaers yesterday and no one knew what it did.

Any ideas? BTW, this is inside a RA.

So, is it like a master on/off switch for the alarm?

I had a look in my glove box and NOTHING.

The alarm switch is only in the RA and EVO, as they have the OEM alarm system as standard in AUS.

As far as I know, it only disables the tilt and shock sensor.

Like Adrian said it is for the alarm in the RA and maybe the Evo. It is used to turn some of the sensors on or off.

Just had a look at mine & think its switched off??
